Hello, I'm in the process of translating Nigerian names (Igbo and Yoruba) of US sports stars for a US website. Even with your lesson, I'm still having hard time translating the Yoruba name: Adebawore. The best I can come up with it is Ade Bawo Ire which would be "The Crown how can it Grow? or :"The Crown How much a blessing?" Does this seem right or am I way off base?

On the topic of joining words and pronouncing them by shortening one of them for ease, wouldn't it be appropriate to introduce an apostrophe as in English language? In your example, "ni owó" would read "l'owó" while "yún enu" would be "y'énu" (I haven't figured out how to give letters a tail on a keypad yet, sorry!). It's how I visualize it. Thanks for the great work.
